Welcome Amelia…

Amelia Gwen Schultz was born June 14th. She was 6 lbs. 7 oz. and measured 21 in. We are so very grateful that both mom and daughter are doing wonderfully and that the whole family is enjoying its new edition.

Only 2 months to go!

Hi Everyone!
I can’t believe our little girl is going to be here in just two months!! Time sure does fly by. I’m doing well and getting bigger every day. Here is a picture so you all can see the pregnant me.
Alan and I finished our last Lamaze class on Monday. The class really helped prepare us to make the best decisions possible throughout labor and delivery. I am really aiming for a natural childbirth (no drugs or interventions!). This weekend we are finally going to start getting the nursery ready. Bring on the paint! I’ll update the blog with our progress.

We found out last month that we are officially having a girl.

I am looking into home-schooling.

It’s been a while…

Sorry to the mass number of people that probably still read this… er… maybe 2 people? Anyways, just wanted to see who was still with us. I’ve neglected the blog for quite sometime, but now that winter is (almost, not quite) over, we’re starting to thaw and get things done. So, I’d like to see who is still reading if you wouldn’t mind leaving a shoutout!
Anyways, the latest and greatest is that we are expecting a little girl June 1st and we can’t wait for her to be here. We’ll keep you posted on that front.

New House

Hi Everyone!

Al and I have been very busy at our jobs and looking for a new home.  We found one and will be closing on it in one week on November 6th.  We are very excited to have a permanant home in the North Hills of Pittsburgh.  Once we are settled in we will definitely have a new home party.

  Isn’t it beautiful!!

Long time no post

I also was involved with a commercial shoot. It was hard work, but fun. You’ll be seeing the finished product soon, as it’s part of a Hawaii sweepstakes give-away my company is doing.

Also, Melissa and I just finished tiling the kitchen floor in Jtown, so we’re on the brink of getting our house on the market. We can’t wait until that’s done. It’s been a crazy whirlwind, but we’re looking forward to some vacation coming up including a weekend in New York for Beth and 6 days in Seattle at ‘rent’s new beach house over Labor Day. We’ll keep you posted.

That’s what our pirate tickets read Saturday night. The Captain Blasto crew was invited by Deniece Willams (4 time Grammy winner best known for her song “Let’s Hear it for the Boy”) to her performance of the Star Spangled Banner at the Pirate game, then to the Owner’s Box where we met the one and only Kevin McClatchy (see pics). Needless to say, it was an amazing night.

I got my license yesterday!  I had to drive out to Harrisburg to get it, but that beat waiting around 3 weeks for the government to process the paperwork.  I am now officially licensed to sell real estate.  I am soo excited!!
